As an artist and writer, his songs have been heard on TV shows like ABC’s ‘General Hospital’.

As a songwriter, he has been nominated for numerous industry awards and had his songs picked up early on by artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Kim Carnes, Joe Cocker, and John Waite.

In January, 2024, country artist Ty Herndon released ‘How You Get To Heaven’ (written by Ken and Jamie Floyd) on his album ‘Jacob- Deluxe Addition’ to critical acclaim and landing mentions in People Magazine, among other media outlets. Ken’s other recents cuts include ‘How You Get To Heaven’ (on co-writer Jamie Floyd’s #6 charted country album ‘New Girl’), ‘Bring The Old Man Home’ (on co-writer Chris Pierce’s widely heralded album ‘American Silence’), two songs on indie artist Ynana Rose’s ‘Under A Cathedral Sky’ and ‘You Should Be Here With Me’ (multiple artists).

Ken has begun work on his follow up album, ‘A Space For Us’,  with a tentative release planned for Spring 2026. The album will feature duets with Cassi Nicholls and Grammy winner Andrea Pearson, along with several other major artists.

“ ‘How You Get To Heaven’ is the most important song I have ever recorded.” - Ty Herndon (2024)
